Sustainable infrastructure as the basis of our actions
SERVANTIS relies on sustainable, future-oriented infrastructure that equally meets ecological, economic and social standards.
DGNB Gold certification
Our building ensemble is certified to the standards of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The assessment comprehensively considers ecological, economic and sociocultural criteria as well as location and process quality.
KFW 40 EE Standard
The building meets the KFW 40 EE standard: at least 65% of the energy requirement for heating and cooling is covered by renewable energies.
Water management
In the Jenfelder Au pilot area, wastewater is not simply disposed of but reused. In the HAMBURG WATER Cycle®, different wastewater streams are collected separately, treated and reused – efficiently and in a resource-friendly way.
Renewable energy
Renewable energy in the form of local district heating is generated from domestic wastewater in the Jenfelder Au and used to supply the buildings. This is complemented by 100% green electricity, which operates the entire site sustainably.
